The Reeves Tale

Read the latest article from Mrs Yerby Smith

We have had a lovely (mostly) sunny autumn so far. The children have continued to enjoy being outside in the woods, there have been conker competitions, dragon egg making and hiding and signs of autumn afternoons. The children enjoyed welcoming their parents and friends of school into the woods this week to share the space and play games with their grown-ups. Teas and cake stall raising £95 for school funds topped off the afternoon. A big thank you to everybody who was involved and helped.

The children have continued to enjoy their swimming lessons and the younger children have 'hopped' on the bus to Dereham and have been visiting the Dereham Library. We have made some new links to the mobile library and we look forward to the 'van' visiting school.

Some of the children had the opportunity to take part in a rugby festival in Norwich rugby club. Well done to all the children who took part.

We had our first exhibition of the children's work in partnership with Foulsham and Corpusty primary schools, at Reepham High school. Thank you to everyone who attended. It was lovely for the children to 'show off' their work to a wider audience.

Once again, anybody who would like to help in the woods or hear readers, you would be most welcome,

Mrs Yerby Smith.
