Friends of Bawdeswell School

friends of BPS (1)Friends of Bawdeswell School's (FOBS) purpose is to support the school and its learning opportunities, raise money for things that the school budget does not cover and to add to the children's positive experiences during their time at Bawdeswell Primary School.

We do this by funding school trips, extra resources for classes and one off special items and running events such as discos.

We run events throughout the year which are detailed below. We love to hear new fundraising ideas, especially ones that help us engage more with our local community, or ways we can improve existing events we run, so please get in contact with us. And if you'd like to help run or plan any of these events we'd also love to hear from you.

Meetings are held monthly online or in person and are either after-school or in the evening. When we have a big event coming up, we meet more regularly either as a whole team or as a sub-group.

Who We Are

We are really grateful for the parents who help at the various events throughout the year.

The current committee members are Becca Savory (chair), Kate Dougan (secretary) and Kerry Woodhouse (treasurer).

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
